The Postdoc Association of the University of British Columbia (UBC PDA) was founded in 2006 by members of the Life Sciences Institute as a “Postdoc Coffee Club”. In its earlier days being a get-together for Postdocs and Research Associates at the LSI, it is now a UBC campus-wide association with the goal of enhancing the postdoctoral experience in all aspects- personal, professional and social.
